DC asks school authorities to return excess admission fees within 10 days

Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Md. Shamsul Arefin has directed the educational institutions to return back the excess receipts of admission fees beyond Taka 3 thousand to the students by next 10 working days.
He told this while addressing the meeting of views exchange with the representatives of the schools of the port city at DC Conference Hall on Wednesday .
 Representatives from 46 schools attended the meeting. Deputy Commissioner directed the school authorities to return the excess fees so realised from the student within the stipulated time otherwise, disciplinary actions including abrogation of MPO enlistment etc as per existing rules of the concerned ministry.
The meeting was told that after expiry of schedule days of repaying the excess fees, committee headed by an the Executive Magistrate will be deployed to ascertain the repayment of excess fees aimed at next necessary actions.
Among others, District Secondary Education Officer Hosne Ara, Chief Education Officer of city corporation Nazia Shirn, CAB President SM Nazir Hossain were present in the meeting.
 Sources said the allegations against the English medium schools yet to be resolved lack of any rules and regulations of their own and the matter of English medium school will be brought before the concerned ministry very shortly.
