DCCI Business Institute (DBI) organized a 2-day long Training Program on “Rules & Procedures of VAT & Income Tax” on Friday and Saturday in its premises, said a recent media release. Twenty-six (26) business professionals nominated by different prominent organizations participated in the training.
Muhammad Mahbub Alam, FCA, Finance Controller, Akij Group and Md. Ratan Mia, Tax Consultant, TRACC conducted the training sessions as Resource Persons.
According to the participants’ feedback, this training course has broadened their mental horizon and made them conversant with very important issues on VAT and Income Tax.
Closing and Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the program was held on Saturday at DBI premises where S M Zillur Rahman, Director, DCCI graced the program as the chief guest and shared his life story as a business leader.
He advised the participants to have proper knowledge of VAT and Income Tax for achieving long-term business success in current competitive global market.
“One should have clear idea about VAT and Income Tax and other Tax formalities to run his/her business successfully. Adequate knowledge about rules and procedures of VAT and Income Tax helps a businessman to run his business professionally,” he said.
