Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd (DBBL), a reputed private commercial bank has been awarded for its significant contribution to the society for providing scholarship to the poor and meritorious students of the country recently, said a press release. The award was given through the programme of 1st International Conference on Digital Education at Dhaka University. Prof A A M S Arefin Siddique, Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University inaugurated the conference.
Sayem Ahmed, Chairman, Board of Directors of the bank received the award from the central bank governor Dr Atur Rahman. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid attended the program as the chief guest.
