J Sports Academy became champions of the Home Tech day-long five-a-side Rugby Competition when they defeated Kanchan Rugby Warriors by 36-10 points in the final at the Palyan Maidan on Thursday. The victorious team had a 16-0 lead in the first session.
Sabuj of J Sports Academy was adjudged the Player of the Tournament. After the competition noted sports personality Kamrun Nahar Dana distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Managing Director of Home Tech Limited Hossain A Sikder was present with her as the special guest.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Rugby Union Abdullah Al Zahir Shawpan, General Secretary of the Union Mousum Ali and Joint-Secretary of the Union Syed Ahmed were present at the time.
