The Home Tech five-a-side day-long Rugby Competition will be held today (Thursday) at the Paltan Maidan.
Assistant Director (Sports) of the National Sports Council Syeda Taslima Akhter will formally open the rugby meet today at 9.30 am as the chief guest.
A total of six teams will take part in the rugby meet. They are: Bangladesh Amateur Rugby Club, Azad Sporting Club, J Sports Academy, Rajdhani Sporting Club, Khilgaon Progoti Sangsad, Kanchan Rugby Warriors.
After the competition General Secretary of Dhanmondi Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex Kamrun Nahar Dana will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Union Md Mousum Ali, Joint-Secretary of the Union Syed Ahmed will be present at the time.
