The day-long Independence Day Cycling Competition was held at the square of the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday.
Rina Khatun of Bangladesh Ansar & VDP secured first position in the Girls’ Group.
Md Fahmid Hossain Khan obtained first position in the Boys’ Group.
Rashida Begum of Bangladesh Ansar & VDP became first in the Women’s Group.
Shamim took the first spot in the Men’s Group.
After the competition, State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder, MP distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Dance Artiste Munmun Ahmed and Md Anisuzzaman were with him as special guests.
Chairperson of Dhaka Cycling Club Jobera Rahman Linu presided over the prize-giving ceremony.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Administrator of the Bangabandhu National Stadium Md Yahya, Vice-President of Dhaka Cycling Club Ikramuzzaman, General Secretary of the Club Robiul Hasan Khan were present at the time.
