Chittagong Bureau :
A day long review meeting of development works of Chittagong Region of LGED that was held at the auditorium of Local government and Engineering Department (LGED) Bhaban in Chittagong. Chief Engineer of LGED Shyama Prosad Adhikari was present as Chief guest. About 400 officer from different Upazilla participate in the day long meeting.
Chief Engineer in his brief speech said that Bangladesh will be a role model in the world to achieving SDGs by 2030.
He also instructed the engineers to monitor the development work of rural area in current fiscal year to fulfilling 100% target in this fiscal year. Chief engineer added that near about 2000 core taka development work running in 5 district.
World Bank, ADB, Jaika, Saudia Fund ,rural development for financial assistant of Dutch also work in different project.
He urged the Engineer to reduce public hazard and also Instruct to maintain quality of work and Maintain friendly environment. Superintendent engineer, Executive engineer, asst. engineer and upazila engineers are also present in the Meeting.
