Day-care center for children with disabilities inaugurated in Fulbari

A day-care center has been inaugurated at Phulbari in Dinajpur on Sunday with the initiative of the Association for the Disabled Development (ADD) to provide therapy services to children with disabilities.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Mostafizur Rahman Fizer, MP inaugurated the day-care center as chief guest.
The inaugural function of the day-care center was organized recently at the office of the ADD in South Basudebpur of the upazila presided over by the president of the organization and the mayor of Fulbari Municipality Md. Mahmud Alam Liton.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Ataur Rahman Milton and Rhea Smith, president of the Netherlands-based organization Stesting Fiji spoke as special guests. Welcome remarks were made by Ahaduzzaman Sohag, Executive Director of ADD.
Children with disabilities, guardians of children, invited guests, well-wishers and media persons were present on the occasion.
