Rain or thundershowers with intense lightning flashes is likely to occur in some parts of the country, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin on Saturday.
The day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
Rain or thundershowers with intense lightning flashes and temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka and Chattogram divisions, said the bulletin issued for 24 hours commencing at 9 on Saturday morning.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 36.5 degrees Celsius at Khulna and minimum temperature on Saturday was 22.4 degrees Celsius at Bogura.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am yesterday was recorded 73 mm in Tarash.
