Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country.

The axis of monsoon trough runs through Rajasthan, Hariyana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, centre of the land depression to Assam across central part of Bangladesh. One of its associated troughs extends up to the North Bay. Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and strong over the North Bay.
Country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 34.8 degree Celsius at Rangpur and Friday’s minimum temperature 24.2 degree Celsius was recorded at Feni.
Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6:00am on Friday was recorded 258millimeters (mm) at Feni.
