Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Monday predicted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind, is likely to occur at few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,” said a Met office bulletin issued Monday morning.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 35.0 degree Celsius jointly in
Rajshahi and Tarash, while Monday’s minimum temperature was 22.5 degree
Celsius in Rajarhat.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 22 mm in Ishurdi.
