Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at isolated places over the country in 24-hour till 9am today,” said a met office bulletin issued on Friday morning.
Country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 36.0 degrees Celsius at Feni in Chattogram division and minimum temperature on Friday was 25.0 degrees Celsius at Rangamati in Chattogram division.
