Day and night temperature may remain unchanged

The ongoing mild heat wave is likely to continue in three districts, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin valid for 24 hours commencing 9am on Wednesday.
However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
“Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Noakhali, Khulna and Bagerhat and it may continue,” said the bulletin, reports BSS.
“Rain or thunder showers with intense lightning flashes and temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over northeastern part of the country,” it added
 Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 36.4 degrees Celsius at Mongla, while the minimum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 22.4 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am on Wednesday was recorded 37 mm at Srimangal.
