David Meale has joined the US Embassy in Dhaka as its new Deputy Chief of Mission.
Meale was previously the Counselor for Economic Affairs at the US Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, said a press release on Monday. With over 20 years in the US Foreign Service, he has also served as Deputy Director of the Office of Monetary Affairs in the Economic Bureau and held assignments in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Guinea, on the Israel Desk in Washington, and as a student at the National Defense University.
