Daraz Bangladesh, a concern of China-based Alibaba Group, is holding what is called the world’s biggest online sale 11.11 (Eleven Eleven) on Wednesday.
Daraz (daraz.com.bd), which is Bangladesh’s largest online marketplace, is hosting the campaign for the third time in a row, says a press release.
It adds, the online festival is being celebrated across the world, including in four South Asian countries — Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar and Pakistan — where Daraz operates. Daraz is offering special vouchers, discount and cashback, best deals, flash sales and many other attractive offers, according to the release.
One of the best all-rounders of the world Shakib Al Hasan inaugurated the campaign at a live show from Daraz’s official Facebook page at 11:30pm on Tuesday.
At that programme, customers won realme 6i, realme C15 handsets, Sharp air conditioner etc through ‘Spin the Wheel’ game, Daraz said.
One Mr Zahidul Islam won the ‘skill-based’ ‘1 Taka game’ and bagged a Toyota Aqua car as the prize when his name was announced as the winner.
