The 96th birth a nniversary of the father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children Day observed in the port city as elsewhere in the country.
On this great auspicious day, a dance competitions of Children held at Muslim Hall incity yesterday . About 100 children irrespective of male and female participated the competition. Amra Mujib Sena, Chittagong city unit organized the competition to celebrate the birth anniversary of the father of the Nation. The competition starts from morning yesterday.
The competitions include dance, song, recitation , drawing and hand writing etc of the children.
General Secretary of Mujib Sena, City Unit Md. Azam told that after end of the competitions, a children rally and subsequent prize distribution ceremony will be held at 5 pm .
City Mayor AJM Nasiruddin will graced the concluding session as chief guest duly presided by Alkaran ward councilor Tarek Solaiman Selim .
