The last regional selection round of ‘Dan Cake Dessert Genius 2018’ ended through Dhaka selection round on Thursday. The two-day-long selection process was held in the capital’s Golden Tulip Hotel. 154 participants participated in the selection round. The month-long regional selection round kicked off in Mymensingh on September 12, 2018. Total 36 participants got ‘YES Cards’ to participate in the Studio round from the regional selection rounds held in Mymensingh, Bogura, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Kumilla, Chattogram and Dhaka. After the studio round, the final Gala round will be held on October 19, 2018.
Three winners will be selected from the 10 participants. The top winner will be crowned as the ‘Dan Cake Dessert Genius 2018’ and will win a trip to Denmark with a partner.
Chef Afroza Naznin Shumi, Nafiz Islam Lipi and Mahbuba Chowdhury were the judges of the Dhaka round.
