Staff Reporter :A case has been lodged against Mahfuz Anam, Editor of The Daily Star, and two other journalists of the newspaper on charge of disrupting the country’s peace by publishing provocative statements.Advocate Shahjalal Kibria filed the lawsuit with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Anwar Sadat on Sunday morning. The other two journalists accused in the case are the newspaper’s chief news editor Syed Ashraful Haque and chief photographer Enamul Haque.The court has ordered the officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station to investigate the charge and take actions accordingly.
