The Agriculture Department under its post-flood rehabilitation programme distributed seeds and fertilizer among 15,700 poor and marginal farmers in seven upazilas of the district till October 30.
Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) distributed the seed and
fertilizer among poor and marginal farmers in the district, who were affected by the recent flood, DAE sources said.
A farmer who wants to cultivate mustard got one kilograms of mustard seed, 20-kg DAP and 10-kg MOP fertilizer.
On the other hand, for cultivating wheat a farmer got 20-kg wheat seed, 20-kg DAP and 10-kg MOP fertilizer.
