A gang of dacoits looted cash and valuables worth about Tk. one lakh from Radhaganj branch of Grameen Bank on Tuesday evening.
According to bank officials, the dacoits numbering 17-18 stormed into the bank and tied the security guard. The robbers ransacked the valuables of the bank and looted Tk 14 thousand in cash, a TV set, VCD, five mobile phone sets and gold chain worth Tk.one lakh. A case was filed in this connection. None had been arrested till filing of the report at 10 pm.
