A four-member delegation from German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst-DAAD) called on Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Sunday at the latter’s office of the university.
The delegation consisted of Prof Dr Muhammad Qumrul Hassan of the Department of Geology of DU and President of Alumni Association of German Universities in Bangladesh and DAAD Coordinator in Bangladesh, DAAD Lecturer in the Department of German Language of Institute of Modern Language, DU Marie Kretzschmar; Senior Advisor of Public Relations and Information of DAAD Regional Office, India Aditi Gosavi and Senior Advisor of International Cooperation of DAAD Regional Office, India Shikha Sinha.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interests especially about DAAD Regional Fellowship Programs under which the students and Faculty members of DU will be provided scholarships for Masters and PhD Degrees.
