Czech Republic interested to invest in RMG, power, defense hardware sector in BD

The Czech Republic interested to invest in RMG, Power, Defense Hardware sector in Bangladesh. In response FBCCI also invited them to invest in the said sectors in Bangladesh. FBCCI also urged the Czech leaders for joint ventures in the potential sectors including power and Defense tools in Bangladesh. The Ambassador also thanked Bangladesh Government for providing shelter and humanitarian assistance to the millions of Rohingyas came from Myanmar. The discussion was held on Wednesday while the Ambassador of Czech Republic to Bangladesh based in New Delhi Milan Hovorka met with FBCCI Acting President Sheikh Fazle Fahim at FBCCI office. BG Milan SCHULC, Defence Attache of the Embassy, Frantisek Jirasek, Counselor of the Embassy and A S M Mohiuddin Monem, Honorary Consul of Czech Republic in Bangladesh also took part in the meeting. Md. Abu Naser, Nizamuddin Rajesh, Khandaker Moinur Rahman and Masud Parvez Khan Imran, Directors of FBCCI and Hussain Jamil, Acting Secretary General of FBCC were also attended.
FBCCI Acting President Sheikh Fazle Fahim briefed the mission on the current economic development of the country. He mentioned to review the ‘memorandum of understanding’ between FBCCI and the National Chamber of Czech Republic and expressed interest to work more closely with Czech Chamber. Fahim invited the Czech entrepreneurs to invest in Power, Defense hardware etc sectors in Bangladesh. Moreover, Sheikh Fahim emphasized on technology transfer from Czech Republic to Bangladesh. He also urged Czech entrepreneurs to work in ‘R&D’, Health Science etc sectors in Bangladesh. The FBCCI Chief mentioned that a delegation from FBCCI will soon visit the Czech Republic to see the means of developing further bilateral trade. He also assured the delegation off all out cooperation from the private sector.
The Ambassador of Czech Republic Milan Hovorka expressed his deep interest to enhance the Czech trade and investment in Bangladesh.
