A 3-day long Shadow UN Conference-2019 begins at Chattogram Vaterinary & Animal Science University today under the auspices of CVASU Model United Nations Association(CVASU MUNA) .
The theme of the conference is ‘ Ensuring Inernational Peace and Developed Economy through SDGs Implementation’ Minister for Land Saifuzzamana chowdhury is expected to formally inaugurate the Conference as Chief Guest.
This is first ever such conference at CVASU among the Agri Universities of Bangladesh . 350 representatives from 37 schools colleges and universities including India, sri Lanka and Nepal will participate the conference .
The participants will represent the countries of US, Russia, China, UK, Japan, India, Iraq, Iran, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Myanamar, South Africa, Syria, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Korea including 80 countries. The participants will also represent as shadow representatives of UNDP, UNICEF, UNHRC,FAO, UNEP, UNSC, DIESC, IP .
The shadow conference will be formally inaugurate at 10 am as University auditorium duly attende by the vice chancellor of CVASU Prof. Dr. Goutam Buddha Das as chief patron. President of CVASUMUNA Prof. Partha Samantha will preside it .
