The Faculty of Food Science & Technology of Chattogram Veterinery & Annimal Science University arranged a online s eminar on Friday last on the occasion of World Food Day-2020 at its conference hall. The theme of the day was “Grow, Nourish, Sustain, Together, Our actions are our Future”. Vice chancellor of CVASU Prof.Dr.Goutam Buddha Das delivered keynote speech as chief patron of the seminar.
Chairman of Food Security Authority Md. Abdul Quaiyum Sarkar graced the seminar as chief guest. Dean of Marine Fisheries Faculty Prof.Dr. M Nurul Absar Khan and the Dean of Veterinary Mechine Faculty Prof. Dr.Abdul Ahad were present in it as special guests. Dean of Food Science and Technology Faculty Prof.Dr. Jannatara Khatun presided over it. Asstt.
Professor of Applied Chemistry & Chemical Technology Department Prof.Suvankar Saha presented the keynote paper in it. Head of Food Processing and Engineering Deptt Dr. Zakia Sultana Juti delivered address of welcome on the occasion, a CVASU release said.
