CuU students suffer due to unfit BRTC buses

The students of Cumilla University (CoU) are facing unbearable sufferings due to unfit BRTC buses.
The state-run transport agency provided 10 buses for transporting university students from different areas in and around the city to the campus and vice versa.
Butthe buses are quite old and most glasses of the windows have broken down as well the seats are damaged, alleges several students.
Afsara Binta Alam, student of English Department said, “BRTC buses often become out of order on the streets. In consequence, we miss important classes.”
Sampurna Chakma, a student of Mathematics department, said, “Couple of days ago, five BRTC buses went out of order at a time. The university administration should fix this problem as soon as possible.”
When asked, Swapan Chandra Majumder, chief adviser of the university’s transport committee, said, “We have found many problems with the BRTC service. We will send letter to the depot authorities within two to one days.”
Hopefully, these problems will be resolved soon, he opnined.
