The Cute Premier Handball League begins tomorrow at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
Bangladesh Handball Federation will organize the handball competition under auspices of Mousumi Industries Limited.
Regarding the ensuing handball meet, a press conference was held at the Dutch-Bangla Bank Auditorium in Bangladesh Olympic Association Bhaban on Thursday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Chairman of Mousumi Industries Limited Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapol, Chairman of the League Committee and Police Commissioner ABM Masud Hossain, Vice-Chairman of the League Committee and ADC of Police, Motijheel Division SM Shiblee Noman, Secretary of the League Committee Md Jahangir Hossain were present at the conference.
A total of 10 teams will take part in the handball competition. They are: Narinda Progoti Boys Club, Prime Sporting Club, Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club, Arambagh Krira Sangha, Menjis Krira Chakra, Bangla Club, Surjodoy Krira Chakra, Victoria Sporting Club, Old Ideals and Quantum Methods.
The competition will be held in single league basis.
The 11-day long handball meet will come to an end on July 31.
