Chittagong Bureau :
The Chittagong University Teachers’ Association (CUTA) on Sunday denounced torching of the university’s shuttle train and demanded exemplary punishment to the perpetrators.
CUTA, in a statement, alleged that a vested quarter was trying to create panic on the campus by hurling cocktails and torching the university shuttle train. “It is an ill attempt to hamper normal academic atmosphere of the campus and it might also have a link with the attack on the CU teachers’ bus on September 10 last year,” said the statement.
