Customs Sports Club emerged unbeaten champions in the Liberty Group CJKS First Division Volleyball League securing eight points from four super five matches that concluded here on Wednesday.
Rising Star Junior finished runners-up with six points, Rising Star Club became 3rd with four points, Young Star Club finished 4th and Chittagong Royal was placed 5th in the league.
All five super league teams have earned the right to play in the Premier Division Volleyball League from next season.
Mehedy Hasan Bappi of Customs SC was adjudged the best player of the league, Nur-e-Alam Nishad of Rising Star Junior named as the promising player of the league while Jamiur Rahman Jim named as the best player of the title-deciding match.
Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong and President of CJKS M Shamsul Arefin was the chief guest at the day’s closing function and later he distributed the prizes. Managing Director of the league sponsor Libertu Group Mohammad Elias was also present as special guest.
