Commissioner of Chittagong Customs Authority Dr AKM Nuruzuman said following the relentless works of the customs officials to help facilitate ensure of secured trade besides revenue collections.
He disclosed it while addressing the journalists at customs conference hall in Chittagong on Thursday evening in observance of the International customs day. The theme of the customs day was ‘Secured Trade Environment aimed at Economic Development’ .
Customs commissioner said we are going ahead keeping in mind of this theme of the day.
He said maximum people thinks the main target of the customs is to collect revenue but customs is advancing gradually with the shape of world trade and CCA is also using the latest world technology now.
He further disclosed that CCA is hardly monitoring against the money trafficking in abroad , watch against entrance of arms , ammo at all airports and sea ports of the country
.Sources said in observance of the Day, a clourful rally was brought out from the premises of Chittagong Customs House which terminated at same venue by goes round different city streets.
Later, a seminar was held at its auditorium, sources said.
