One Hasina Parvin, wife of a custom official convicted with 3 months simple imprisonment by a special court of Chittagong recently .
Special Judge of Chittagong divisional court SM Ataur Rahman disclosed this judgment . Court acquitted her husband Abdul Quddus, a former Appraiser of Chittagong customs from the allegations.
Special PP of Chittagong Divisional court Advocate Mesbahuddin told that for excess income of Tk.78.40 lakh beyond the legal incomes , Anti corruption Commission, Chittagong filed a corruption case before the double mooring thana on July 27, 2011 .
After taking depositions of 11 witnesses, court declared this judgement on Wednesday . Later on bail petition, Hasina Parvin granted bail on condition of appeal, sources said.
