Members of Coast Guard in a drive seized 63,000 meters current nets and 200 kg polythene bags from a launch in the river Meghna last midnight.
Coast guard sources said being informed, a team of Coast Guard conducted the drive at night and seized the nets and polythene bags.
Later, the seized current nets were destroyed and the polythene bags were handed over to the Environment Department.
