A day-long pitha mela and cultural function was held on the main campus of Bangladesh Open University (BOU) recently organized by the university. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. A Mannan inaugurated the mela and said that pitha is our social and cultural heritage. We must uphold our cultural values in our social life style.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khondokar Mokaddem Hossain , Treasurer Prof. Dr. Abu Taher, teachers, officers and employees were present in the function.
