Cultural alliance ‘Bangali Sangskritik Bandhan’ floated

Imbued with the ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman a cultural alliance comprising 25 cultural organisations was formed on Thursday.
The announcement of forming ‘Bangali Sangskritik Bandhan’ was made by the freedom fighter and president of the newly formed alliance Akbar Hossain Pathan popularly known film star Farooque at a press conference at National Press Club .
While reading out a written statement Farooque said all the members of the platform follow the ideology of Bangabandhu and they would work together to build ‘Sonar Bangla’ dreamt by Father of the Nation. General Secretary of the alliance Saiful Azam Bashar said the alliance would work with any issue significant to country as well as to its people. “We will not tolerate any kind of activities of anti-liberation forces,” Bashar said, adding the platform would build a humanitarian and non-communal society through cultural activities.
Eminent cultural personalities Dr Enamul Haque in his speech said, “We want a cultural-friendly government and the present government is friendly towards cultural activities. We will stay with the Awami League during the upcoming national election.”
Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote, Awami Shilpi Goshti, Banglar Mukh, Awami Sangskritik Forum, Awami Sangskritik Jote, Bangladesh Lok Sangskritik Parishad,Music Organization Coordination Council,Shadhinota Charushilpi Sangsad, Bangabandhu Lakhok Parishad, Bangabandhu Abritti Parishad, among others, are the member organizations of the platform.
