Chittagong University Journalists’ Association (Cuja) observed its eighteenth founding anniversary on the campus yesterday.
CU Vice-Chancellor Prof Anwarul Azim Arif inagurated the progrramme as the Chief Guest at the second floor of Chittagong University Central Student Union (CUCSU) centre.
Earlier the Cuja members, other working journalists and other students brought out a procession on the campus and held a discussion conducted by CUJA General secretay Tasnim Hasan. Cuja president Humayun Masud presided over the progrramme while CU pro-vice-chancellor Prof Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury, Registrar Alamgir Hossain Chowdhury, Chittagong University Teachers’ Association President Prof Benu Kumar Dey, General Secretary Prof Dr Mustafijur Rahman and ex-general secretary Ali Asgar Chowdhury were present, among others.
