The new executive committee of Chittagong University Journalists’ Association (CUJA) along with its members met the CU authorities on Wednesday .
CU Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr. Iftekar Uddin Chowdhury,Pro-VC Prof Dr Shirin Akter,Acting Registrer A K M Nur Ahmma, CU Proctor Ali Asgar Chowdhury welcomed the new committee.CUJA also met the authority of Hathazari Model Thana and Officer in Charge Belal Uddin Jahangir of the thana welcomed the new executives. CUJA President Baizid Emon, Vice President Mumin Masud , General Secretary Abdullah al Faisal, Joint Secretary Imran Hossain , Treasurer Joy Das and press and public secretary Jobaer along with executive member Abdullah Rakib and other members were also present.
Different issues about the university and journalism discussed in that courtesy meeting while they emphasized on impartial and objective news for the positive development of the university and nation.
