Chittagong Union of Journalists is going to celebrate golden jubilee anniversary of its foundation.
The year long anniversary ceremony was launched yesterday through unveiling the the website at Chittagong Press Club Bhaban .
President of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalist Manzoorul Ahsan Bulbul inaugurated the website as Chief Guest. In inaugural ceremony of website, BFUJ President said CUJ has played vital role in the liberationwar and anti-autocrat govt .
He said it is the proud of the journalists that CUJ has set up example through year long programs across the country. President of CUJ Ezaj Yousufi presided over the inaugural ceremony of website and launching of golden jubilee programs. Among others, former President of BFUJ Ruhul Amin Ghazi, former President of CPC Abu Sufian, President of CPC Kalim Sarwar, Secretary of CUJ Hasan Ferdous spoke on the occasion. Former mayor & City AL President Abm Mohiuddin Chowdhury, former Mayor Manzoor Alam, President of city BNP Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Deputy Commissiner of Chittagong Mesbahuddin, Police Super AKMHafiz and elites of the city attended the function. Iftar mahfil was arranged followed by unveiling of website program, sources said.
