Daylong Science Olympiad-2017 was held at Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology campus on Friday aimed at imbuing the new generations towards science research .
The Science Olympiad was arranged at divisional level where about 181 students form 25 school and colleges participated .
Among them, 20 selected students will participate in national level competition.
Vice chancellor of the CUET Prof.Dr. Rafiqul Alam graced the occasion as chief guest.
The chief guest congratulated the organizers of the Olympiad and urges the student to addict with the knowledge of science.
Among others, Dean of Civil Engineering Facultly Prof.Dr. Md. Hazrat Ali, representative of Bangladesh Academy of Science & CUET Registrar(additional charge) Prof. Dr. Farukuzzaman Chowdhury, Professor of Physics Deptt Prof. Dr. Md Abdur Rashid were present at the inaugural session of the Olympiad, sources said.
