“iPrepare follow up lecture & certificate award ceremony” under second phase seminar titled ÒiPrepare campaign encourages students explore disaster preparedness in Bangladesh” was held at Disaster & Environmental Engineering Deptt of Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology recently.
Head of the DEE Dr.Sudip Kumar Paul presided over the ceremony. Teachers of the department were also present.
Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre (ADPC) Communication Specialist Ms.Leila Uotila presented keynote paper in it. She distributed certificates to the participants and handed over prizes to the winners. In the competition, 9 research papers were submitted from CUET and two papers edited by Showkat and Md. Mostakim Ali of City Planning Deptt selected for prize.
The title of the research article was ” The urbanization trend in Chittagong City” Prof. Dr.Sudip Kumar Paul in his concluding speech thanked ADPC for arranging such a research seminar on disaster preparedness management in CUET and also called for such future programs in CUET.
