Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) yesterday went on 21-day vacation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.The vacation starts from August 7 and continue till August 27, said a press release signed by CUET, Registrar Dr Faruk-uz-Zaman.
Meanwhile, the CUET authorities today asked its students to vacate all the residential dormitories. The male students were asked to vacate the halls by 5 pm today while female students were given till 10 am yesterday , CUET authorities said.The decision was made in a meeting at VC’s conference room this afternoon with Vice Chancellor in the chair.
All deans and chairman of all departments were present at the meeting. The press release signed by CUET, Registrar Dr Faruk-uz-Zaman, said all academic activities of CUET will be closed during Eid vacation from August 7 to August 27. However, prescheduled examinations will be held in due time, the release added.
