The 4th convocation of Chattogram University of Engineering & Technology will be held on Thursday next at University campus in Raozan, Chattogram .
President of Bangladesh and Chancellor of CUET Md. Abdul Hamid has given consent to grace the convocation and will preside the convocation ceremony. This was disclosed in the press meet held at Chattogrm Press Club hall this afternoon . Chairman of Publicity & Media Sub-committe4e Prof. Dr. Asiful Hoque read out the written statement before the journos. The press meet was told that about 2,231 ex-students will be offered Degrees and four best degree holders will be honoured with Gold Award.Former Chairman of UGC Prof. AK Azad Chowdhury will be the Convocation Speaker in it. Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni, Deputy Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury MP ,Chairman of UGC Prof. Kazi Shahidullah will attend the convocation as special guests, press meet told. Mentionable that the golden jubilee celebration of the CUET will be celebrated on next day, December 06 in a day long program in the campus where at least 10 thousand people are expected to remain present.
The chief guest , special guests in the golden jubilee programs are – Dr. Hasan Mahmud(Chief guest) , Chairman of Parliamentary Standing committee on Ministry of Railway ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury , City Mayor AJM Nasiruddin (special guests) . Vice chancellor of CUET Prof. Dr. Rafiqul Alam will preside the colourful celebration ceremony. Asstt. Registrar(Coord) Md. Fazlur Rahman and CUET PRO Rashedul Islam were present in the press meet.
