Admission test for first year honours course of session 2015-16 was held in Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology on Saturday .
The admission test held intwo sessions, i.e. first session from 10 am and 3 pm respectively for 10 departments under four faculties. 6,326 admission seekers appeared in the test against 690 seat and only 325 students appeared for architecture department.
Chairman of the Admission Test Committee Prof. Dr. Hazrat Ali told that admission test held peacefully and the results will be announced within next one week.
Admission processing will begin in January next.All admission procedures will be known from out website. 10 subjects of the course are – Civil Engineering , Computer science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication engineering, Petroleum & Mining, Civl & Water Resources, Mechatronics and Industrial Eng, Architcture, Urban & Regional Planning Engieering. Sources said there are 11 reserved seats for tribal students beside 690 seats.
