Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) has recently arranged an orientation program for the MBA and EMBA freshers of Summer 2019 at its Banani Campus in the city. Sheikh Fazle Fahim, President, FBCCI was the chief guest and inaugurated the ceremony while Prof Mohammad Abdul Momen of IBA, Dhaka University was the special guest. Dr Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat, Founder Chairman, Board of Trustees, Canadian University of Bangladesh chaired the program.
Prof Dr Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam, P. Eng. Vice Chancellor, CUB delivered the welcome speech while Dr M Mamoon Al Bashir, Director, MBA and EMBA Programs conducted a presentation on the programs. Renowned corporate personality Arif Shahriar, Chief People and Business Performance Officer of Rahimafrooz Group and Mukit Ahmed, Head of eMarketing of Banglalink have talked about their experience of teaching at the MBA Program of CUB as adjunct faculties Among others, Prof Dr Nazrul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof Willam H Derrenger, Dean, School of Business, Dr Shahrukh Adnan Khan Dean (Acting), School of Science and Engineering, Bahauddin Mohammad Isa, Registrar (Acting), SM Arifuzzaman, Head, Department of Business Administration, and other teacher-students and officials of Canadian University of Bangladesh were also present in the program.
