Chittagong University (CU) authority sent six people including two students of the university to Faujdarhat quarantine centre for initial test from Shaheed Abdur Rob hall on Monday night.
One of them is Italy returnee , two are students of Comilla Medical College, one is from Brahmanbaria,all of them were illegally staying at the hall and the other two are Shah Neyaz Rana and Joy, students of Chittagong University.
According to university sources,Italy returnee Hossain Mahfuz, who fled from Airports without any check up,along with five others was staying at room number 320 of Shaheed Abdur Rob hall for two days.On information, CU proctorial team raided the room and detained them yesterday night. Later, they were sent to Faujderhat Medical for quarentine.
Contracted,CU Assistant Proctor Ahsanul Kabir Palash of the university said, “We immediately sent the six to Quarantine. They will be tested.Action will be taken against those students who brings them to the university.
