Students of Sonskriti Department of Chittagong University put 10 rooms including the chairman’s room of the Department under lock and key yesterday as the result of third year final examination was not published for the last 14 months.
The fourth year students of the Department locked the rooms at around 10.30 am alleging that the authority was indifference to publish their results.
Following the incident, the academic activities of the Department came to a halt.
The agitators said that they appeared at the third year final examination in April, 15, 2013 but the authority yet to publish the results.
