Pro Vice- chancellor of Chittagong University (CU) Prof Dr Shirin Akter met Jagannath University (JnU) Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Mizanur Rahman at his office on Monday.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest, especially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic, research and training programmes by the two universities. Exchanges of teachers, students, researchers and cultural teams between the two universities were also discussed at the meeting.
Mentioning that an excellent friendly relation between Jagannath University and Chittagong University has been prevailing for a long time, the JnU VC apprised the guests of a brief history of the university as well as academic and research activities.
During the meeting Dean of Life and Earth Science Pro Dr Kazi Saifuddin, Prof Dr Milton Bissas of Bangla Department, Prof SM Anwara Begum of Political Science And Jagannath University Register Engineer Md. Owahiduzzaman was present.
