The administration of Chittagong University paid tributes to the founder of the nation Bangabandhu Shiekh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of Historic March 7, by placing wreaths to the portrait of Bangabandhu and holding several programs.
A discussion meeting and a dua mahfil was also held. CU vice-chancellor Professor Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury in his speech said, the historic gold-casting speech by Bangabandhu Shiekh Mujibur Rahman motivated the nations’ heroic sons to fight against the Pakistani barbarism. The speech casted from Bangabndhu was the source of motivation, which assists to bring our independence.
Among others, pro-vice chancellor Prof Dr Shirin Akhter, deans of several faculties, CUTA president Awrengajeb and general secretary Prof Dr Sukanta Bhattacharya, registrar Dr Kamrul Huda, provosts of the halls were also present there.
