The online admission process for the first year honours admission tests for 2018-19 academic sessions of Chittagong University (CU) will begin tomorrow and will continue till October 6.
CU Vice-Chancellor Prof Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury will inaugurate the online application process in the virtual classroom of the Faculty of Engineering
at 10:30 am on Thursday. On the same day applicants will be able to apply from 11 am.
Conforming the matter SM Akbar Hossain, the secretary of the admission test committee and Deputy Registrar (Academy) of the University, said the admission tests of ‘C Unit’ will be held on October 27, ‘Gha (D) Unit’ on October 28, ‘Kha (B) Unit’ on October 29 and ‘A Unit’ on October 30.
However, the application fee for single unit was kept unchanged at Tk 475 like previous year . The cost of incidental charges will be around Tk 550 for each of the units. Admission seekers can submit the application fee through rocket or Bkash account. The total seat of this year is 4,924 Under the four units of 8 Faculty, 45 departments and 5 institutes.
The decisions were taken at a meeting held at the Vice Chancellor Conference room with the CU VC in the chair.
