The Economics Department of Chittagong University is going to celebrate its 50th anniversary today through festivals.
The university, specially the Dr Younus Bhaban was decorated with colorful light on the occasion of the grand festivals.
A total of 3000 ex-students have been expected to join the grand juvenile, where Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iftekahr Uddin Chowdhury would be present as chief guest, economist Rehman Subhan as speaker of the grand juvenile, ex-student and the incumbent Dhaka North City mayor Anisul Huq as the special guest.
