The authorities of Chittagong University (CU) have decided to take the unfinished examinations of different departments which were postponed due to coronavirus.The residential halls will be closed during the examination. Besides, the authorities have also decided to take the entrance test for 2020-21 academic session physically.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Academic Council held at noon on Sunday.
The matter has been confirmed by the Registrar (Acting) of the University Professor SM Monirul Hasan.
He said a decision had been taken to take postponed examinations of different faculties and departments following health rules.The Vice-Chancellor of the university has been empowered to form a committee in this regard. Residential halls will not be opened during examinations. After discussing with the examinees, however, the department Chairman will announce the examination routine at a convenient time.
He further said that the admission test will be physical. Everyone of the meeting has agreed on this issue. We will wait until December. The Central Admission Committee of the university will take the next decision after publishing the result of HSC.
