Abu Taher Mamun, the prime accused in an arms recovery case involving Bangladesh Chhatra league’s (BCL) Chittagong University (CU) unit, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon.
Police arrested Mamun, a student of international relations, from the university’s Pagoda hostel, said police.
On November 2 last year, 50 people including four policemen were injured as two factions of CU unit BCL clashed during an admission test.
